WHAT IS RADON?

Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas produced by the decay of uranium and radium and is found in soil, rock, and water. Radon is colorless, odorless, and tasteless.

WHY SHOULD I GET MY HOME TESTED?

Exposure to Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the USA. Radon levels can vary greatly over short distances, the only way to know if a home has radon is to test.

WHAT IS THE TESTING PROCESS LIKE?

 A Continuous Radon Monitor or other testing device is placed in the lowest space that could be lived in for a minimum of 48 hours, during closed home conditions.

HOW MUCH DOES A RADON SYSTEM COST?
